Following on from the very successful conference in September 2024, Getting Everyone Reading, the Primary English and Literacy team at LPDS are delighted to welcome back Dr Sarah Moseley for a Writing for All Conference: Celebrating Inclusive Practice and using Assistive Technology
Writing is not just a skill—it's a powerful tool for communication, self-expression, and learning across all domains. For every learner, including those with the most complex needs, access to writing as part of a rich, inclusive curriculum must be seen as a fundamental right, not a privilege.
This forward-thinking conference celebrates the upcoming release of Dr Sarah Moseley’s latest book, Writing for All, and her ongoing research with schools striving to remove barriers to literacy. It brings together inclusive pedagogy, practical strategies, and the latest national guidance—including the increasing expectation for all teachers to confidently implement assistive technology in everyday practice.
Designed for both new and experienced educators, this conference will support primary, secondary, and special school practitioners to reimagine writing as a truly inclusive experience. Through inspiring keynotes, case studies, and hands-on sessions, delegates will explore how adaptive teaching, universal design, and evidence-based interventions can transform writing outcomes and raise aspirations for all learners.
