This full day course will:
- explore the key learning within physical development (fine motor skills and gross motor skills);
- focus on how practitioners can plan suitable activities to promote a range of skills through adult focused activities and through enhanced provision both indoors and outdoors, including timetabling, monitoring and assessment; and
- provide opportunities for delegates to engage in and explore a range of ideas and activities to support the development of handwriting skills, including fine motor skills, use of tools and equipment and letter formation.
**This course is suitable for Reception teachers and Teaching assistants. Bring a colleague from the same school for free.**
This is a great opportunity for Literacy or PE subject leaders to attend with the EYFS staff member.
This course includes a free copy of Gross and Fine Motor Skills by Jessica Squires and Catharine Cummins.
"Lots of information that I can practically take back into my setting and use."
"So beneficial to come with a colleague as we could action plan at the same time. Lots of documentation discussed and copies given which is helpful. Practical and realistic ideas"
