This course will:
• Provide Teachers with an overview of the statutory requirements for the EYFS with a specific focus on the Reception year
• Provide an opportunity for Teachers to familiarise themselves with the key messages outlined in the statutory framework, including the importance of learning through play, working with parents, providing outdoor learning opportunities, key person, safeguarding, etc.
• Reflect on the key elements of developing effective provision in a reception class.
• Tour the EYFS professional Development environment at Fairfield Accrington

This course is suitable for any teacher new to or returning to the EYFS.
