- To share and benefit from the sharing of best practice in working with pupils for whom English is an additional language.
- To provide delegates with information drawn from policy and/or research pertaining to English as an additional language and related areas of education, teaching and learning.
- To provide delegates with the opportunity to network with one another.

Each LCC school may reserve one place at a cost of £30 per meeting, or £50 to attend all three meetings during an academic year.

Termly cluster meetings for EAL co-coordinators provide guidance on good practice, give policy updates and serve as an opportunity to raise concerns, seek advice and network with other EAL co-coordinators. Specific focus will be shared nearer to the time of the meetings.
