This course will:
• Look at adaptive teaching strategies, such as scaffolding, modelling and flexible grouping in Primary DT
• Discuss how technology, such as AI, can be used to support adaptive teaching
• Highlight different cognitive strategies that can be used to support all learners
• Discuss the importance of assessment to monitor pupil progress
• Look at pupil scenarios to demonstrate how the different adaptive teaching strategies can be used.
Adaptive teaching in Primary DT is the process of responding to pupils’ varied needs so that all learners can access, engage with, and succeed in the design, making, and evaluating process
This course discusses strategies that can be used to support the needs of all pupils. This course can be run as a school-based training session.
