The course will cover:
- practical hands-on projects looking at programming, monitoring and control, including the use of the Micro:bit and the Crumble;
- practical hands-on projects using woodwork skills;
- the knowledge and understanding needed to implement the projects covered; and
- the importance of health and safety in Primary DT.

This is a practical course that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on activities, allowing teachers to explore and learn how to implement different areas of the curriculum. This first practical course will focus on programming, monitoring and control and woodwork skills for primary teachers. This course can be run as a school-based session.
