Adaptive and responsive teaching can be challenging in classrooms where pupils present a wide range of needs. These sessions will explore common classroom barriers and draw on key research into how children learn, highlighting the essential role of diagnostic and formative assessment when planning for progress.
This popular course will examine the core ‘foundations’ required for effective adaptive and responsive practice and then focus on practical, evidence informed strategies that support pupils in everyday classroom settings. Approaches such as purposeful scaffolding, targeted questioning, and flexible instructional techniques will be explored to help teachers respond to emerging needs in real time. Delegates will leave with a range of practical ideas and strategies that can be implemented immediately to strengthen their teaching and accelerate pupil progress.
*Please note there are two sessions within this suite, delegates can choose to attend both sessions in the adaptive teaching suite and a discount of …if delegates attend both. *
