This course will take delegates through the Great Teaching Audit tool, giving examples of effective, evidence-based practice; opportunities to reflect on practice within their setting and identify areas for development. References will be made to the Ofsted Inspection Tookit and feedback from recent school inspections. There will regular times throughout the day for leaders to reflect on teaching practice in school and identify areas of practice to 'celebrate' and areas to 'highlight' for further development.
It will make reference to the Great Teaching Toolkit and how this can be used to support colleagues back in school.
"The best available evidence indicates that great teaching is the most important lever schools have to improve pupil attainment. Ensuring every teacher is supported in delivering high-quality teaching is essential to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged among them." (EEF - High Quality Teaching -Maximising Learning)
"Fabulous! One of the best initiatives and training I've had on teaching and learning." Lancashire Headteacher
