This is a two-part session spread over the two dates with an opportunity for implementation back in school and reflection between the sessions. Delegates are asked to book both dates at the time of booking and that the same colleague (where possible) attends both sessions.
1. To develop a clear understanding of how to use the PSHE Association Programme Builders to develop bespoke units for learners that reflect the cohorts in school.
2. To build confidence for leaders to map in themes to their curriculums which reflect current data trends and needs to ensure that the children are receiving an offer which is reflective of their lives.
3. To identify ways to be creative with time in the curriculum to make the most of opportunities to enhance the wider personal development offer within school.
4. To take time to identify key trends and plot these across the school journey to ensure that the needs of students are suitably addressed in a preventative manner.
Please note, this course is only suitable for schools who use the PSHE Association programme builders to plan their PSHE curriculums.
Please bring along your current curriculum overviews and a device to have access to curriculum planning documents throughout the session as needed.
