•To review Ofsted’s Modern Languages focus areas, and how these can support monitoring of provision
•To review current resources
•To consider practical issues such as staffing and CPD.

This course will equip subject leaders of Primary Modern Foreign Languages with the essential knowledge to carry out this role effectively. The course is suitable for new subject leaders as well as those who are more established but would like guidance and support to fulfil the role in successfully in their primary school. This course complements the termly subject leader network meetings, and will allow participants the opportunity to network with other subject leaders from different settings.
