The LPDS English team have successfully offered the Talk One programme since 2019. This year we are delighted to provide the opportunity for schools to attend a Talk One 'Top Up' CPD day exemplifiying a brand new unit focusing on the text The Ugly Five by Julia Donaldson with links to the wider curriculum for geography and science. The unit is designed to be delivered in the summer term of Y1 and is aimed at all schools that have attended Talk One.

This full day course aims to:
- complement the existing Talk One units;
- provide a new unit with talk strategies; and
- exemplify a unit of work with opportunities for spoken and written outcomes for approximately 5 weeks.

The price for this CPD day is £170

As with all Talk programme units, a full suite of supporting materials will be provided to facilitate delivery of the unit back in school.
