We are a Lancashire warm space where you can keep warm, access information and advice or spend time with others. From Tuesday 9 May until Saturday 2 September this library is offering warm drinks as part of a summer pilot project where donations are welcome.

Opening times

Please note that this library will be closed from 4pm to 5pm on the first Friday of every month for staff training.

Every Thursday 9am to 10am will be Quiet Hour in the library. We ask our customers to respect this by muting phones and devices whilst in the library.

All our libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays and some additional days.

Events and activities

You and your family can attend a range of reading, learning, craft and cultural events and activities. Most are free, some have a small charge and some need to be booked.

Access and parking

There are two Pay and Display car parks next to the library.

The library has a ramp and an interior lift for easy access to all levels of the library.
