Chorley Library will close temporarily to the public on Monday 6 July. This temporary closure will last a week and will enable the library to be prepared for partial opening whilst the roof is replaced. The library will open to the public on Monday 13 July.

All our libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays and some additional days.
The Chorley Local History department is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-4.50pm and Saturdays 2pm-4.30pm, subject to staffing. Main library opening times are below.

Events and activities
You and your family can attend a range of reading, learning, craft and cultural events and activities. Most are free, some have a small charge and some need to be booked.
Access and parking
There is a small free library car park, or a public pay and display car park across the road. A ramped entrance is available.
