We are a Lancashire warm space where you can keep warm, access information and advice or spend time with others.

Opening times

Please note that from Monday 3 November the opening hours for this library will change and the table below will be edited to reflect this change when it takes effect.
On weekdays where the library would previously close at 7pm, it will now close at 6pm and on weekdays where the library would close at 1pm, it will now close at 2pm.
Saturday opening times will remain unchanged.

Please note that this library will be closed from 9am to 10am on the first Thursday of every month for staff training.

Every Monday 9.30am to 10.30am will be Quiet Hour in the library. We ask our customers to respect this by muting phones and devices whilst in the library.

All our libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays and some additional days.

Events and activities

You and your family can attend a range of reading, learning, craft and cultural events and activities. Most are free, some have a small charge and some need to be booked.

There is a car park at the side of the library including a bicycle park, alternatively you can park for free on the road.

There is ramp access to the library for easier access.
