Barrowford library will be closing at 1pm on Saturday 4 April 2026 for approximately ten weeks for boiler and heating replacement. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Whilst the library is closed, we will continue to provide the following events at Holmefield House:
- Every week on a Wednesday starting from Wednesday 15 April:
- 10am – 10.30am Story Time
- 10.30am – 11am Bounce and Rhyme
- 11.30am – 12.30pm Knit and Natter
- Every fortnight on a Friday starting from Friday 17 April:
- 2pm – 3pm Reading Group
The Mobile Library Van will be parked at Holmefield House for borrowing and returning books:

- Friday 24 April 10am – 1pm
- Friday 15 May 10am – 1pm
- Tuesday 2 June 10am – 1pm
