  • PressReader offers a wide range of popular magazines from both the UK and abroad.
  • There are also thousands of national, provincial, and global newspapers available.
  • To gain free access click Sign in, use the 'Library or Group' button, search 'Lancashire' and enter you library card number. 
  • This will give you 30 days free access which can be continually renewed by signing in again.

 Borrow Comics from Library Pass - Comics Plus (Children's library)

  • Unlimited, simultaneous access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga in all genres and for all ages from over a hundred well known comic publishers
  • No holds, waiting lists, or loan limits
  • In addition to the Full Library (with Adult, Young Adult, Teen and Children's comics), we also have a separate Children's Library where they can browse and read comics for children and younger teenagers
  • In both libraries it is possible to filter your results by age suitability

You will need:

  • Your library card number
  • Your library PIN (when using the app)
  • The free Library Pass app is available from Google and Apple for you to read Comics Plus on smartphones and tablets. Just install the app and search for 'Lancashire' and choose Children's or Full Library
  • You can also read in browser on a computer or laptop

 Borrow Comics from Libby

You will need:

  • Your library card number and library PIN and your email address to login and register for the first time.
  • You can then log in each time with your library number and PIN.
  • A free Libby app is available for you to listen to eAudiobooks on smartphones and tablets or you can listen on any computer or device via your browser. Free software is also available to listen on computers and transfer books to music players.
