Our exciting learning sessions develop a robust chronological framework, build solid topic knowledge and boost pupil substantive and disciplinary skills.
What's great about the Greeks… (Half-day session)
Find out how ideas from Ancient Greece had an impact on our immediate environment and investigate the truth behind the land of myths and legends. This interactive session examines society, beliefs and culture in an engaging style that keeps learners involved from start to finish. Highlights include a human timeline, temple building and delving deep into Greek society with the use of artefacts.

The Pre-History Mystery - Can You Dig It? (Full day)
Prehistory - Unravel the mystery of Prehistory in our fully immersive journey into the 'time before the Romans'. Step into the Stone Age before briefly dissecting the Bronze age and investigating why the Iron Age was so important. Using your historical enquiry skills and a range of sources you will piece together a chronological picture of events going back nearly 13,000 years. Discover how a simple wall, built thousands of years ago, can provide key information about the past today.
Can You Dig It? – Designed to boost key investigative skills this session uses archaeology as the platform to examine how experts gather information in a bid to piece together the past. As a group you will develop a chronology of the British Isles, identify and explore a host of artefacts and unravel the secrets of an amazing discovery!
