Exploring nature based learning through the forest schools approach

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for practitioners working in both the PVI and maintained school sector.

This training is recommended for those undertaking the Lancashire Quality Award - Physical development and Step Outside.

Course content

Step outside and explore the natural world. This engaging training introduces the Forest School approach and explores how nature-based learning can support children's, confidence, wellbeing, creativity and connection to the environment.

Through practical activities and discussion, practitioners will discover how outdoor learning can enrich everyday practice and inspire meaningful experiences in nature.
