Emergency plans
The county council produces guidance and plans to ensure we are prepared to respond to emergencies. These plans are:

Chemical incidents (Operation Merlin)
Coastal and maritime incidents
Fuel shortage
Nuclear (Radiation Emergency Preparedness and Public Information Regulations -REPPIR)
Public Information Before, During, After a Nuclear Emergency
Pipelines (Major Accident Hazard Pipelines – MAHP)
Pandemic influenza
Reservoirs
Severe weather
The following plans and/or guidance can also be called upon to deal with the consequences of any of the above emergencies.
