School place provision planning
The County Council is the Strategic Commissioner of Education Provision in Lancashire. The school place provision strategy sets out how we will carry out our responsibility for ensuring there are the right number of school places, in the right areas, at the right time to meet demand.
The School Planning Team delivers the school place provision strategy on behalf of the County Council. Where appropriate, a review of school place provision will happen in key areas, and the current projects in progress or recently completed are detailed below.

Moor Park High School and Sixth Form
The Governing Board of Moor Park High School and Sixth Form is proposing that the school will permanently lower its age range from 11-18 years to 11-16 years.
