Resettlement in Lancashire
The Lancashire Refugee Integration Team (LRIT) is part of Lancashire County Council and coordinates refugee and asylum resettlement across the county. Established to deliver Lancashire’s commitment to resettle refugees, the team now supports people arriving through more than 10 resettlement routes.
LRIT has grown significantly since 2016 and brings strong lived experience, language skills and cultural knowledge to its work. Fully funded by central government, the team works with district councils and partner organisations to support refugees to integrate into communities across Lancashire.
