The Department for Education (DFE) guidance states that no face to face appeal hearings can take place due to COVID-19. This guidance has been extended until September 2021, therefore until advised otherwise all admission appeals will be conducted by conference call or written submission.
You must confirm that you want your child's name on reserve lists for other schools and academies and request appeals information by the following dates:
- Secondary - Monday 8 March 2021
- Primary - Friday 30 April 2021
You can ask for your child's name to go on a waiting list, as well as request an appeal, for any school.
If a place becomes available and your child has greatest priority, you will be offered a place at the school.
For some schools reserve lists may only be held for reception and year 7 places, for other years you will need to check with the individual school.
