Full Council

Senior management updates

  • We're pleased to confirm that Helen Coombes has been appointed as Executive Director for Adults, Health and Wellbeing.
  • This appointment gives us the stability we need to keep driving our improvement plan and to prepare effectively for the possibility of local government reorganisation.
  • Helen brings fantastic experience in leadership, operational excellence and financial sustainability across the public sector.

White Ribbon campaign: We Speak Up

  • We are once again supporting the international White Ribbon campaign to end male violence against women and girls.
  • Running from 25 November to 10 December, this year’s theme is We Speak Up.
  • It calls on men and boys to challenge sexism and harmful behaviours that lead to violence against women and girls.
  • You can find out more and show your support at www.whiteribbon.org.uk.

Reminder to add councillor meetings and events to the calendar of meetings

  • To avoid scheduling conflicts and improve transparency, you must add any meeting or event involving three or more county councillors to the council’s Calendar of Meetings.
  • This includes formal and informal meetings such as briefings, site visits and community events.
  • Adding these to the calendar helps councillors manage their commitments and gives visibility to other teams arranging meetings.
  • To request a listing, please complete this form.
  • For queries, please email democratic.services@lancashire.gov.uk.

Check your contact email in Oracle Fusion

  • Take a minute to make sure your primary contact email in Fusion is your Lancashire email address.
  • Some employees have set a personal email as their main contact. This can cause problems with reporting and stop important updates reaching you.
  • Log in, check your details and update them if needed.
