Councillor Grants
There are two councillor grant schemes: the Champion Grants Scheme and the Local Member Grants Scheme.
The Local Member Grants Scheme allocates £2,000 per year to every county councillor so that you can support the vital work of voluntary, community and faith sector organisations in your area. Grants can be used to fund projects that will directly benefit the community. You will make decisions about how your £2,000 budget is spent, subject to the grant scheme's rules. More information can be found on the Council's webpage.
In addition, each council Champion is allocated £10,000 per year to finance activities relating to their role, including awarding grants to organisations who run projects to benefit the community and support the Champion's area of work. More information can be found on the Council's webpage.
Both schemes are administered by Democratic Services. For more information or support, please email LPTlocalmembergrants@lancashire.gov.uk.
