Opening times

Please note that this library will be closed from 9am to 10am on the third Wednesday of every month for staff training.

Every Wednesday 9am to 10am will be Quiet Hour in the library. We ask our customers to respect this by muting phones and devices whilst in the library.

All our libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays and some additional days.

Local History at Clitheroe Library is open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am-12pm, Tuesdays 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays 2pm-4pm, subject to staffing. Main library opening times are below.

Events and activities

You and your family can attend a range of reading, learning, craft and cultural events and activities. Most are free, some have a small charge and some need to be booked.
