Lateral Flow Device (LFD) - Testing portal guidance

Team leader

As part of your organisations testing team you will have a main contact, known as a Team Leader. This person is responsible for approving and maintaining Testing Operatives for that designated testing site. The person who is designated the role of Team Leader will need to provide the following detail to the Mass Testing Service mailbox:

Full Name

E-mail address

Mobile Number

You will then receive an e-mail invitation and a text message with a temporary password for your account. You will need to use the following URL:
https://log-coronavirus-test-site-results.service.gov.uk/

• You will need to click on the 'I'm a Team Leader' link and then you will be presented with a login screen. Please enter the e-mail address you provided to receive the invitation to register.  You will also have received a text message from 'Notice' which provides the e-mail address you need to use and a temporary password to use.
• Once you have entered these details, you will be prompted to enter a new password which you should keep securely. Once changed you will be asked for an authentication code. This code is sent to your mobile number and again will come from 'Notice'. Enter the 6 digit code and you will be logged in.
• Once successfully logged in you will be prompted for a Site ID. This is a 4 character Site ID that will be provided to you from the SMART team. Enter the Site ID for the site you want to select and you will then asked to confirm the Site ID is correct for what you have entered.
• You are now presented with two options, 'Manage new staff access' or 'View and manage current staff'.
• If you have any 'Test Operatives' to approve then these will show under the 'Manage new staff site access' and clicking on the link will show who has requested access to be a Test Operative for that chosen site. Once approved that Test Operative will show in the 'View and manage current staff' link where you can deactivate them as and when testing has finished.
