Road surface temperatures are forecast to drop below zero this evening until around 12:00 tomorrow.  So all priority routes in East Lancashire, will be gritted during the afternoon and evening.

Our priority routes only cover one third of the total highway network. Ice patches can develop even on treated surfaces, often caused by water run-off from fields or other sources. Ice is most likely on untreated surfaces – please adjust your driving to the conditions.
