You will be part of a team that is passionate about our great county and its people. We are the biggest council in the North of England, with the fourth largest population in the country, employing more than 13,000 employees and serving our 1.2m residents over a large area that is twice the size of Greater London.

We have recently received the biggest government allocation from levelling up in recognition of this.
