These A4 cards can be used to support the teaching of the letter formation phrases linked to the Red Rose Letters and Sounds Planning Programme. Each full colour, laminated, double sided flashcard includes the phrase used to teach the formation of that letter with the letter on the reverse. 

It is recommended that when teaching letter formation, a phrase is used in order to embed the directionality. All adults who teach letter formation are encouraged to use the same approach as children learn effectively through repetition.
