Healthy Hearts
Welcome to Healthy Hearts, a Lancashire campaign in partnership with We Are Undefeatable, dedicated to supporting people living with heart, and other long term health conditions, to move more in a way that works for them.
From moving more at home, to walking around the block, to activities in your local community, there's opportunities to build movement into daily life.

Explore our campaign stories to see how people with heart conditions have found their way to get moving.

Ken
After a heart attack, Ken knew it was time to take action. Now he’s in the gym nearly every day, rebuilding his strength, regaining his confidence, and making the most of his second chance.

Asiya
After being diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, Asiya began walking and swimming – and it’s made a world of difference.

Angela
Angela lives with multiple health conditions, but in the water, she finds relief, builds confidence, and feels like herself again.

Darren
Darren’s journey of recovery after a stroke has included parkruns with his daughter, boxing sessions and walking football.

John
John faced major challenges - a heart attack, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and diabetes.

Omar
After a heart attack, Omar turned to nature to help him heal. Daily walks in the park give him space to breathe and rebuild a healthier life.
