Lady Elsie Finney House is a purpose built two storey home for older people located in Ingol , just under 3 miles from the centre of Preston which is in the heart of Lancashire.
Lady Elsie Finney House is one of 16 care homes managed by Lancashire County Council, and offers quality safe comfortable care and support for up to 46 people across three homely separate areas.
We offer friendly, compassionate, person centred support to people living with dementia who choose Lady Elsie Finney House as their home. We also welcome older people for short term respite stays
We provide a range of facilities including nicely furnished lounges and dining areas with kitchen spaces. People who choose Lady Elsie Finney House as their home are welcome to personalise their bedrooms to their own taste with comfy furniture, televisions or belongings that will make their room feel like home.
There are ample bathrooms, showers and toilet facilities, and all bedrooms are en-suite.
The accredited dining experience at Lady Elsie Finney House offers fresh locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared to produce a wide choice of delicious meals.
Alternative options are always available. Drinks and snacks are accessible for people who live in the home and their visitors to enjoy throughout the day. Sample menus are available if you would like to view them.
On sunny days Lady Elsie Finney House has two first floor balconies and access to two ground floor garden areas with flower beds, all have ample seating for everyone to enjoy the fresh air. Those wanting to go a little further can visit the local community centre, or take a stroll along the canal. When the weather is not so fine we have smaller lounges in which to relax or enjoy various activities.

If you like to get out and about we arrange trips out to local shows and events such as visits to Garden Centres, Ice cream parlour and the famous Blackpool Illuminations.
Everyone at Lady Elsie Finney House is included in marking celebrations such as Christmas, Birthdays and Halloween. Fun themed activities and social events take place and everyone is welcome.
