The day support provided is person centred and will aim to maintain the lifestyle and well-being for older people, including those living with dementia, whilst providing support to carers. We focus on reducing social isolation through maximising people’s skills, aspirations and promoting independence to remain living in their own community.

Genesis Care is a small, not for profit charitable organisation providing day-time support for older people with dementia and other disabilities in a homely environment focusing on promoting independence, strategies for maintaining life skills, social activities and reminiscence. We offer a range of activities designed to stimulate and motivate, whilst having fun led by a skilled staff team. Lunch and refreshments provided.

Cost varies, please contact for more information (prices include a 2-course lunch). The Carer Café is the 4th Wednesday of the month (excluding December), refreshments are charged at reasonable prices.

From Wednesday, 1 November 2023, we are opening a Friendship Corner 11am - 2.30pm as a Warm Welcome Space.

Millfields day centre is a small and friendly nurse led specialist centre offering person centred care and support to a maximum of 12 clients a day. With regular outings and a client led activity planner we aim to ensure that our clients happiness is at the centre of everything we do. We are based in rural Brinscall and offer a transport service within the areas of Chorley and South Ribble.
