Who is this course for?
- The Language Lead in your setting and any practitioner who will be undertaking the screenings using the WELLCOMM Toolkit
- Settings with a WELLCOMM Toolkit
Course content
This set of three workshops will enable you to have a clear understanding of:
- key words, the communication circle and the difference between understanding and expressive language
- what is in your WELLCOMM toolkit
- How to screen children accurately
- How to use the Big Book of Ideas to provide support for children with a delay
- How to involve parents in supporting their children's language development
- How to access and use the Wizard to monitor children's progress
Session date and time
Choose which date you would like to join session 1 and then you will automatically be given a place on session 2 and 3.
Please note the same practitioners must attend all 3 sessions.
