Supporting Wellbeing Outdoors for Early Years Practitioners

This course is suitable for all EYFS practitioners in both the PVI and maintained schools including Teachers and TA's
Course content
Are you an Early Years Practitioner in need of some time away from the setting to pause, reflect and recharge?
We are excited to offer a dedicated outdoor wellbeing day designed to equip practitioners with practical ideas and strategies to support children and themselves in regulating emotions, prioritising mental health and finding moments to rest and restore.
The day will be led by experienced and qualified forest school practitioners alongside a forest school mental health specialist who also holds a Mental Health First Aid Certificate, together they bring a wealth of knowledge that will be shared throughout the session and can be taken back to your setting.
There will be opportunities for:
- Forest Bathing
- 5 Ways to Wellbeing activities
- Mindfulness
- Woodland crafts
- Outdoor yoga
- Cooking on an open fire

Time: 9.30am - 3.30pm
Venue: Hothersall Lodge Outdoor Education Centre, Hothersall, Longridge, PR3 2XB
Delivery: Face to Face
Cost:
£50 per person for the day, including lunch and refreshments (please advise of any special dietary requirements when booking).
