This session is essential for those settings undertaking the Lancashire Quality Award – Relationships with Children, Parents and the Wider Community.
Course content
This course will help practitioners reflect on their relationships between parents and staff. It suggests ways in which staff can further build a positive and respectful culture where children feel safe and secure and parents feel valued as their child's first and ongoing educators. How does your setting promote and support parents with how they can further 'chat, play and read' with their child at home?
There are lots of fun and resourceful ideas shared such as home learning loan bags, information leaflets for parents, ideas on events that involve parents, parent spaces, and much more.
