Record of self-evaluation and preparation for Ofsted
Who is this course for?
Managers and leaders of PVI settings.
This session is particularly useful for settings awaiting their first inspection, settings due for inspection and those who are aspiring to outstanding or who want to maintain their current outstanding judgement.
Course content
This training will consider key themes in the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and how inspections will be carried out. It will look at the four Ofsted judgement areas and provide an opportunity to explore how you can conduct and record effective self-evaluation for your early years practice and provision.
The Record of Self-Evaluation Booklet, sold at the Early Years Professional Development Centre for £10 will be provided on the course.
During the day, a record of self-evaluation and an improvement plan for your setting will be established.
