Course content
This training is Blended online and trainer led:
E-learning
This is split into nine modules and can be completed over several sessions at your own pace and will take approximately 6 hours to complete. For each module there is a multiple choice questions section which must be passed in order to carry on to the next topic. Once you have completed all of the sections, there is a final set of multiple choice questions which must be passed to complete the online learning part and get your certificate of completion.
You must have completed this section at least one week before you are due to attend the trainer led session and show your certificate to the trainer.
Trainer led session
This is where all the practical elements of the course are demonstrated, practised by the learners and assessed by the trainers. If you have struggled to understand any of the e-learning sections, the trainer will go over the subjects again during this session. There will also be another set of multiple choice questions at the end of the day.
On successful completion of both parts of this course you will receive a Paediatric First Aid manual and your Paediatric First Aid certificate.
