Who is this course for?
New and experienced practitioners working with three- and four-year-olds who want ideas for how to incorporate music into storytelling to enhance children's story experiences.
Course content
This session explores links between music and storytelling with a focus on musical knowledge to give practitioners more confidence when encouraging children's creativity. Practical strategies and ideas are shared to support children to enjoy, extend and develop musical exploration through stories and rhymes, using voices and instruments.
The course will link with many aspects of the EYFS including communication and language, reading, exploring and using media and materials and being imaginative.
