Mathematics outdoors for three to fives
Who is this course for?
This workshop is for practitioners working with children aged 3 -5 years of age.
This session is essential for those settings undertaking the Lancashire Quality Award – Mathematics in the Early Years.
Course content
This practical workshop examines the multitude of mathematical learning opportunities in the outdoors.
Elements of core provision, enhancements to promote the development of early number and shape, space and measure outdoors will be explored.
Please come along dressed appropriately for the weather on the day as the session will be held outdoors.
A change of footwear is essential.
