Who is this course for?
Practitioners working with three-year-olds who are looking for some inspiration and child development knowledge about typical developmental expectations.
Course content
This child development session looks at typical development for this age group holistically across all areas of learning and development through the principles of the EYFS.
It encompasses a more in-depth look across prime areas linking into and including:
- Supporting the unique child to take their own learning and development journey but what is typical and what do you need to be alert to in terms of identifying any concerns early.
- Developing positive relationships that will be vital for practitioners and parents in supporting progress. Developing the key role of the adult in supporting this age group.
- Creating appropriate enabling environments that are linked to the typical age and stage of development. Looking at appropriate resourcing and learning opportunities.
- Exploring learning and development milestones that are typical for this age group.
