This session is recommended for those undertaking the Lancashire Quality Award – Birth to Three.
Course content
This child development course will look at typical development for this age group holistically across all areas of learning and development through the principles of the EYFS.
- The unique child will take their own learning and development journey but what is typical and what do you need to be alert to in terms of identifying any concerns early
- The positive relationships that practitioners and parents make with this age group will be vital in supporting progress. What is the key role of the adult in supporting this age group?
- Enabling environments are essential in the provision of age/stage appropriate resourcing and learning opportunities. What should you be providing for this age group?
- Learning and development milestones for this age group will be explored
