Who is this course for?

All practitioners working with under threes.

Course content

This session explores the benefits of outdoor play for children under three years old and what can be offered that is different to indoor provision. Our children need to be experiencing the special nature of outdoors on a daily basis. There will be time to reflect on how to create an enabling outdoor environment and a range of experiences for babies using low cost resources. The role of the adult in providing engaging experiences to support learning will also be considered.
