Out of School Club Membership

Do you want to ensure that you are offering the best provision for your children and families?  Do you offer out of school club facilities either through your school offering governor led provision or through a private, voluntary or independent separately registered setting?

Your out of school club will be inspected by Ofsted as either part of the whole school inspection or, if you have an independently registered club, through a stand-alone inspection.

We are excited to offer a new bespoke package of support for out of school provision. The package will support your team to ensure the quality of your provision and the best outcomes for your children.

The Early Years Quality Improvement Team in Lancashire have a team of qualified and experienced development officers and one of them will be assigned to the person leading your club on a day-to-day basis.

The support package includes:

  • In your first year of membership, you will receive an initial visit focused on auditing compliance alongside the various requirements of the club.
  • In your second year of membership and beyond we will move on to considering the role of play work in supplementing and enhancing what children have experienced throughout the school day
  • Your assigned Development Officer will be on hand to guide your thinking around embedding the playwork principles
  • Access to a termly update meeting for managers
  • Email/telephone support from a named development officer
  • Unlimited access to the Early Years Professional Development Centre
  • Free subscription to the termly 'Spotlight' magazine for ongoing professional development
  • 10% reduction on some training courses
