Leading practice in childminder settings

The Childminder Lead Practitioner Programme was established in 2022 following the success of the Childminder Reps initiative.

This lead practitioner programme will support the contribution to the continued development of high-quality practice within the Early Years Foundation stage in Lancashire. A group of excellent childminders, working in a variety of contexts throughout the county, have been selected. These lead practitioners offer support to other Early Years Foundation Stage practitioners by acting as exemplars and sharing good practice.

Through this programme, childminders have the opportunity to have discussions with lead practitioners, who are working in a similar context.
