Who is this course for?

Practitioners working with children from years three years old who want practical ideas to support boys to become confident and capable writers.

This session is essential for those settings undertaking the Lancashire Quality Award – Early Writing.

Course content

This webinar explores ways that we can help boys to become confident and capable writers linking into their interests and cultural fascinations. Tried and tested ideas from research are shared to help all children to develop their writers voice through playful opportunities that make sense to them.

The webinar contains suggestions for ways to develop learning environments that support children to find a purpose to write through their play linked to the stages that they move through in their writing.
