Course content

This webinar explores how puppets can be used to create, retell and act out stories. It supports using puppets to help children build positive relationships, learn about other cultures and make connections that are essential to understanding the world around them.

The webinar looks at how exploring and playing with puppets supports children’s development, particularly their language, personal, social and emotional skills and imaginative play. There are ideas to encourage children to explore different ways of interacting and communicating with others as well as lots of different suggestions for engaging children in puppet making as part of their play.
