Evaluating your practice using the early years inspection toolkit
Who is this course for?
This session is designed for early years practitioners, including those in Out of School Clubs, who wish to strengthen their reflective practice and prepare for inspections under the new toolkit. Leaders, managers, and practitioners will gain the knowledge and confidence to evaluate current practice, understand the updated inspection toolkit, and implement positive improvements.
Course content
In this interactive, face-to-face session, practitioners will engage in two hours of reflective practice led by Kelly and Steph. Using the newly developed resource, Evaluating Your Practice Using the Early Years Inspection Toolkit, participants will explore key evaluation areas aligned with the early year's inspection toolkit.
The session will focus on identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and future goals within your setting. Guided by the Early Years Inspection Toolkit operating guidance for inspectors, you will reflect on current practice, prepare effectively for inspection, and enhance outcomes and provision for children. Each participant will receive a copy of the publication to support ongoing development.
