Lancashire County Council AI Expo
A practical open day on 2 June 2026 for councils to see, learn, and experience how Lancashire County Council is using AI to improve practice, quality, and productivity across services.
Focused on real-world, complex council services with practical takeaways to enable AI adoption within your own organisation, helping to drive innovation and enhance service delivery.
What to expect
A full-day event combining keynotes, panel discussion, service spotlights, and a wide range of interactive case studies across Children’s, Adults, and Corporate services:
- Leadership perspectives – Hear from our Director of Digital, Director of Children’s Social Care and Director of Adults Services during the morning panel discussion on how to safely embed AI within complex council services.
- Real examples – Practical AI-enabled work brought to life through Children's and Adult Services' spotlight sessions in the morning and interactive case study sessions in the afternoon. A full list of the interactive case study sessions are available when registering for the event – sessions include: Prompting with Practitioners, Agents in Adults and Children's, Improving Quality with AI.
- Behind-the-scenes insight – Learn how we approached AI adoption, from the foundations and approach to the key principles that helped make it work in practice, providing you the opportunity to translate learning into clear next steps.
