We are proud of the people who live and work here in Lancashire.

As part of our work to increase civic pride in our county, we’ve announced a new awards scheme for 2026.

Known as the Pride in Lancashire Awards, we want to celebrate the people who make up the red rose county.

Nominations for the awards have now closed, and our judging panel are currently selecting the winners who will be invited to a special afternoon event on Lancashire Day - Friday 27 November 2026.

Lancashire Day is a celebration of our county, and remembers the day when people first went to parliament to represent our county.

There are many great things happening in our county each and every day, and this is a time for us to recognise this work and celebrate what makes Lancashire great.

To help to fund the event itself, we've teamed up with Multevo and Eric Wright group who are sponsoring the event and awards.
