SEND local offer feedback 2018 to 2020

The Lancashire SEND Partnership formed in 2018 following the Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) joint inspection of special educational needs and disability (SEND) services in our local area.

It brings together parents, carers, young people and professionals to develop and improve SEND services locally.

Together we have reviewed the local offer to help us improve the information and make the site easier to use. We looked at other areas in the country to see what we could learn, talked to young people, parent carers and partners. We would welcome your feedback, as we’d love to hear what’s working well and what still needs to be done.

We have also collected information and data about SEND to improve our planning for the future and help us make decisions about services in the local area. This information is summarised in the joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA) for SEND. A SEND dashboard has also been created to share our data.
